The Queen Anne is ideally located within walking distance of the historical downtown Strand shopping area, The Grand 1894 Opera House, Postoffice Street Art District and many of Galveston's fine and casual restaurants. The Queen Anne is nine blocks from the beaches on the Gulf of Mexico and ten blocks from the cruise terminal. Members of HAT (Historical and Hospitality Accommodations of Texas) and recommended by Southern Living, The Queen Anne was also included Galveston's Historical Foundation's East End Historical Home Tour in 1996.
