Candy Cane Cookies |
Ingredients:
1 cup butter Cream butter & vanilla. Add sugar gradually. Beat until fluffy. Add flour, salt and add gradually to butter mixture. Stir in oats and nuts, dough will be quite stiff. shape into "candy canes". Bake 300 - 325 degrees 5 - 8 minutes until very lightly browned. Ice as desired. Recommend icing similar to sugar cookie icing using white background with red stripes.
