1 large can pear halves
1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
1/2 tsp. ginger, powdered
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
1/2-1 c. chopped pecans
1 unbaked pie shell
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- In bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, butter and pecans to make crumb mixture.
- Place 1/3 crumb mixture on pie crust.
- Arrange pear halves on top. Add spices and lemon rind.
- Add rest of crumb mixture on top.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until crust is light brown.
