The "Bennett Place" built in 1889-1890
was once home to James and Sarah Clay Bennett.

Step through the double oversize entry doors into the historic Queen Anne Romanesque home. Designed by Samuel E. des Jardins in the late 1800's the two-and-one-half story asymmetrical brick house creates for a luxurious stay or special occasion.

The Hunter Room's Cherry, King-Size Sleigh Bed Hunter Room
The Hunter Room captures a glimpse of the historic Bluegrass Country. Any true hunter will appreciate the Kentucky cherry king-size sleigh bed and cherry wardrobe.
Clay Room
Experience true Richmond hospitality in the Clay Room. The Queen size Rice carved bed complements the original mahogany mantel encased in polygonal bay windows. Enjoy the seating area and television in the Clay Room. Sofa in the seating area.

Belle Room
Visualize the era of Belle Bennett while enjoying modern conventiences in the Belle Room. The feminine decor of white wicker and hand painted furnishings offers a hint of Southern hospitality. Smart Room
The Smart Room is also available to rent, however a bathroom is not adjacent. This room would be perfect for a party of three or four who do not mind sharing the Belle bathroom which is accessible through the room or hall.

Rise and shine in our old Kentucky home to a healthy breakfast in the formal dining room served full service on fine china with a special touch. Menus range from savory herb tart to breakfast casserole with fresh fruit, an assortment of breads, and the Bennett House Hot Cinnamon Rolls. In addition to breakfast, monthly Saturday Teas and other events are offered in the house.
