While visiting Antiques & Accents, we welcome you to make yourself at home, literally! Proprietors Walt and Bobbi Smith cordially welcome guests to spend a quiet evening, shopping and lodging in a working Appalachian antique store.
We are an antique shop. We've been in the antique business for 5 years. We recently built a new store. The bed and breakfast is located on the second floor of the antique shop. The shop is filled with dining room suites, bedroom suites, sofas, chairs, bookcases, home bar, lamps, pictures and glassware.

Antiques & Accents first opened in August 1995 in a small 600 square-foot shop. Now we are in brand new building with over 7,000 square-feet filled with antiques. Take time to browse all three floors. Feel free to test the cushions on the couches, open the doors and drawers on case pieces... Imagine how they'll look in your home. Smile at yourself in an antique mirror. Examine the many pieces of glassware and knickknacks that are in cabinets and on shelves throughout the store. |

We have vintage clothing, costume jewelry, art glass, pottery, old law books covered with sheepskin. We also have cast iron tubs, tin ceilings and doors recovered from old buildings and much, much more.
There is something for everyone. From elegant to primitive. You just have to look for it and that is the fun of shopping here. You never know what you'll find. (We get many of our antiques from estate sales, some from people who are moving to smaller homes.)

Overnight guests have access to our common areas where they may browse through more antiques, help themselves to snacks, play games, watch television, or socialize with other guests. Each morning we provide a full country breakfast. Enjoy our large porch with swings & rocking chairs. Our common area is central to all rooms and is where breakfast is served. It also has sitting area and small kitchen where guests may help themselves to soft drinks, juices, and snacks. |
Each of our five guest rooms is tastefully furnished in antique furniture and accessories that are for sale. Our rooms feature a comfortable home like atmosphere, including private baths, cable television, luxury linens, sitting and dining areas.
