The 1882 Aleksander House Bed & Breakfast, a Victorian Italianate home built in 1882,
has been restored to its former elegance, complete
with antiques and decor which reflect the period. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the three story home features 12-foot ceilings, original hardwood floors and moldings and five fireplaces. 1882 Aleksander House Bed & Breakfast is conveniently located in historic Old Louisville, just minutes away from Churchill Downs, Louisville's convention center, downtown Louisville, the airport and many fine eating establishments. Old Louisville boasts the largest collection of Victorian homes in the United States.
