Your hosts, Jim and Karen Rhine, became the proud new owners of The Northrup House and Guest House, August 1st, 2005. Originally from the Midwest, after 8 years in Arizona, they left the hectic Phoenix city life to return to a slower pace and better lifestyle.
Jim is a Radiologic Technologist with residential constuction, electrical, and plumbing background. Karen is a Registered Nurse, recently completing a Holistic Health degree specializing in Massage, aromatherapy, and Hypnosis. In addition to continuing the existing services The Northrup House offers, they will be expanding the food services, adding a tournament size pool table, exercise equipment, and massage and spa services for the guests of the Bed and Breakfast and residents of Iola.
