How to Change Your BBOnline Color Scheme

Did you know you can use the Innkeeper Update System to change the color scheme on your BBOnline pages? We have developed 45 different color schemes to choose from. To our knowledge, BBOnline is the only B&B directory site that gives innkeepers control over the color set used on their pages. You can even preview your BBOnline pages to see how they'll look in any of the color schemes, without making a permanent change until you like what you see.

There are 3 components to the color scheme: Background Image or Color: a solid color or image that sits behind text and pictures. In the "Green Leaves" color scheme to the right the Background Image is a light green leaf pattern that fills the entire screen. In the "Turquoise" color scheme below a sold turquoise color fills the background. Highlighted Text Color: this color, usually something other than black, is used for all of the text in the "header" section at the top of the page, the text in the "footer" section at the bottom of the page, the page title and for any text in the middle of the page that we choose to "highlight". In the "Green Leaves" color scheme to the right the Highlighted Text Color is green. In the "Turqoise" color scheme below the Highlighted Text Color is dark blue. Background Bar/Table Color: a highlighted color bar that is used in the "header" section at the top of the page, "footer" section at the bottom of the page, in the "special package" preview box and can also be used as the background in the middle of the page to make the text "stand out". In the "Green Leaves" color scheme to the right the Background Bar/Table Color is light green. In the "Turqoise" color scheme below the Background Bar/Table Color is yellow.

To change your color scheme, follow these steps:

• Sign On to the Innkeeper Update System using your inn's ID and Password (don't forget to choose your state or province from the drop down list)
• At the Welcome screen, choose Page Style from the left column
• To preview a Color Scheme, simply click on the name, and a preview window will pop up
• When you decide on one, use the drop down list to select the name, and click Save Color Scheme
• Click Sign Off to exit - your changes will appear on your "live" BBOnline pages with the next site update, usually overnight
