Small town historical society offers a unique opportunity for a full time innkeeper in a beautifully restored 1861 Italianate home. This special person-or couple-must be well versed in marketing and hospitality skills and especially friendly, energetic, and cooperative. Duties include performing all aspects of operating a four bedroom inn-reservations, housekeeping, preparing a continental breakfast, etc. Also, marketing and coordinating other events that take place in the house and on the grounds. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a quiet respite in a historic setting, but also daily interaction with people. This truly is a unique opportunity. We offer living quarters, a monthly stipend, and a percentage of income generated from the bookings. Generous vacation time is also an option.
