Tie-breaker question:
Back to Dennen's Victorian Farmhouse for the tie-breaker question. Every January, for the past six years, the town of Mendocino has hosted a week-long Mendocino Crab and Wine Days Festival. The festival showcases wine from local wineries and crab dishes prepared by local chefs. During the festival, Dennen's Victorian Farmhouse serves crab to their guests in breakfast dishes and afternoon hors d'oeuvers. Our tie-breaker question is: In the past six years, during Mendocino's Crab and Wine Days, how many crabs have been used in preparing breakfasts and hors d'oeuvers at Dennen's Victorian Farmhouse?
The correct answer is 149 crabs.
Nobody guessed exactly 149 crabs. However, five contestants guessed 150 crabs. From these five contestants, Kathie G. of Redwood City, California was selected at random as the winner!
Kathie will receive a gift certificate from Dennen's Victorian Farmhouse for two people for two night's lodging (weekday or weekend) to be used June 8, 2005 thru May 31, 2006 excluding holiday weekends and local festivals and subject to room availability.
